We saw yesterday a very tied finish between Max Verstappen and Lando Norris. It was very nice to see both fighting for the win. Carlos Sainz ended up in fifth. What happened to him after his fine start of the season?
After his podiums and his win in Australia, we all thought Carlos Sainz would easy find a seat for next year. Maybe it is. Maybe not. Nevertheless, Charles Leclerc is doing better than Carlos Sainz in the last races. Is the pressure of not having a seat for 2025? Are Mercedes and Red Bull not so interested in Sainz?
We can only speculate of course and that is what we do :) I think Carlos Sainz does not have so many options for next year. I think Red Bull will stick to Perez and Mercedes is not a serious option for him. Audi seems to be the best option but let’s see what the future brings.
Sainz need to perform better in the coming races to show he is a true potential driver for the 2025 season. And otherwise, there is always Sauber.
